What it is
ChangeLayer is a product-update platform for software teams. A team creates product workspaces, then manages the public communication around each product: what shipped, what needs a deeper release note, and what is planned next.
Why we built it
Product teams ship constantly, but customer-facing update communication often gets scattered across changelogs, release notes, roadmaps, docs, and in-app messages. ChangeLayer exists because that workflow deserves a focused product instead of another improvised publishing process.
How it is structured
The product model is deliberately centered on the product, not on disconnected announcements. Each workspace can include a changelog, release notes, and one or more roadmaps. Published content can appear on hosted public pages, inline embeds, launcher widgets, and selected API routes.
Product intent
ChangeLayer exists for teams that ship often enough that update communication becomes its own workflow. It gives product, engineering, and support a shared place to prepare customer-facing updates, keep private drafts out of public views, and distribute the finished result without rebuilding the same publishing system for every product.
